Compares process data to vibration data,
delivering a more holistic view of assets. |
|
 |
Today’s successful asset management programs are
requiring a more holistic view of asset performance.
Monitoring one or two parameters is not enough. A full
system view of both vibration and process conditions
must be taken into account because adverse process
conditions can lead to vibration. Catching these
adverse process conditions prior to vibration and making
corrections can lead to a more proactive and
preventative maintenance regime. Most everyone agrees,
but to date this approach has not been cost effective;
until now. New technology has enabled Interscada to
deliver a robust system that allows users to monitor
more data in real time at a fraction of the cost of
competitor’s systems. With companies beginning to make
process operators more responsible for assets,
Interscada offers value by delivering vibration and
process data to plant HMIs like Wonderware or
Intellution. But this is just the beginning. Read
on to learn more about our exciting new technology.

Delivers spectral and overall vibration
to your HMI in real time or user defined intervals. |
|
 |
-
The standard Interscada client offers many features
for customers looking for an “out of the box” HMI.
-
Optional OPC server with Modbus communications for
output to Wonderware or Intellution
HMIs.
-
Custom HMIs can be developed based on user
requirements.
-
Custom websites can also be developed.

Run on the Internet or Local Area
Networks. |
|

|
Interscada LAN:
Designed for monitoring assets located within a local
area such as a plant or facility. Transfers data from
DAQ to central server over a local area network such as
cabled Ethernet or License free radio.
Interscada WAN:
Designed for monitoring assets located anywhere in the
world. Transfers data from DAQ to central server over
the Internet using cable or the data centric cellular
network.
|
|
Data can be transferred over cabled
Ethernet, wireless radio networks, or the data centric
cellular network. |
|
 |
License free radio networks. Up to 15 mi. line of site,
or unlimited with radio repeater option.
Data
centric cellular network. Interscada does not charge
per point monitored like most of the competition.
Instead users are charged by the amount of data sent
(megabyte pricing). This saves customers $1000s over
the competition in annual monitoring fees, offering
unprecedented cost justification.
|
The Interscada DAQ provides 36 I/Os for
unlimited holistic monitoring capability.
|

|
-
Eight 16-bit high-speed analog inputs, 4-20ma or
+/-10V, 25KSPS sampling per channel w/software
clocking or 500 SPS to 100 KSPS with internal rate
generator.
-
Sixteen 16-bit multiplexed analog inputs, 4-20ma or
+/-10V
-
Four 16-bit analog ouputs, 4-20ma current or +/-10V
internal loop supply for current outputs
-
Four isolated digital inputs
-
Four isolated digital outputs

The
CMCP500A Series are general purpose monitors used to
protect equipment. They are compatible with vibration
and temperature inputs, they provide a 4-20 mA output
proportional to the overall measurement. Each unit
provides power for the associated transducer, processes
the vibration signal to determine overall amplitude, and
outputs a 4-20 mA dc current that is proportional to a
user specified range such as 0-10 mils or 0-0.5 in/sec.
Combining monitors with the Interscada system results in
a high density, low cost vibration monitoring system.
The alarm feature functions as a complete single channel
monitor that includes alert and danger alarms, and
output relays that can be used to shut down equipment.
Monitors are din rail mountable and can be mounted in
the same enclosure as the DAQ.

Interscada is scalable, allowing users to start small
then broaden their scope. All you need to get started
is one of our core product packages (either
Interscada LAN or Interscada WAN), a PC, a
network connection (Ethernet or wireless) and the
necessary sensors. Integrate Interscada LAN with your
existing HMI at any level of implementation.
